Question: Is it fair to suggest that the grant Covenant God offered to Israelites (before they rejected it) in Ex. 19:3-6 could have extended a Blessing to the whole Earth (like the Abrahamic Covenant) as it would have established them as priests?

As you know, Israel said they would accept God’s proposition (v.8); but because of their lack of fidelity to God extending from “the Golden Calf”, to all the rest of their time prior to the destruction of the Temple by the Romans, they repeatedly dishonoured their word to God; and finally rejected Jesus again at Acts 28:25–28; which had been prophesied by Isa. 6:9–10!

Because of their problem of holding true to their word, Almighty God has declared that they are “Lo-Ammi” (not My people); which will be the case until the events of Zech.12:10; which may not be too far away!

After the happenings of Zech.12:10; they will be reinstated to “Ammi”; and will become a “Kingdom of Priests unto God on Earth”.
